Treatments · Anxiety & Stress

When your mind won't switch off, there is a way to steady it.

Support for worry, overthinking, avoidance and the stress that follows you home — at a pace that feels manageable.

When your mind is constantly looking for the next thing that might go wrong, even a quiet day can feel exhausting. You might replay conversations, put off decisions, struggle to switch off after work, or notice anxiety in your body before you can explain it in words.

Anxiety can also make your world smaller. You avoid the meeting, the drive, the social event or the difficult conversation, and feel relief for a moment. Then the worry returns.

How therapy can help

We start by understanding what anxiety looks like for you and what keeps it going. That might include:

  • Patterns of worry, perfectionism and self-criticism
  • Overwork, checking and avoidance
  • A nervous system that has been on alert for too long

Therapy may draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and practical ways to respond to stress. We can work on testing anxious predictions, approaching situations you have been avoiding at a manageable pace, and finding room for rest and the things that matter to you. The work is collaborative and tailored to your goals.

You can come as you are

You do not need to know whether what you are experiencing is an anxiety disorder, burnout or “just stress”. If worry is taking up too much space in your day, that is enough of a reason to talk about it.
